Her ancestors can be traced back to Henrik Junnelius, Archbishop of the North (i.e., Finnish and Swedish Lapland), who died in 1639.
The Otala family consists of Dr. Matti Otala (1939..2015). He has five children, Taneli (1964), Tuomas (1967), Tapani (1969), Teemu (1971) and Sofia (1990), and 8 grandchildren.
